My Life Scripture

Philippians 4:4-7 (ESV English Standard Version) Holy Bible
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let the reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.

"Sophie" Slits and Tricks!

The Cricut Circle Exclusive Cartridge "Sophie" features cards and bookmarks, plus a great deal more.  I have noticed the slits/tic marks that show where to score for folding are very large.  This is good news or bad news.  If you do not have a Gypsy and can't hide the cuts, this may be bad news!  However, it can be good news!  The slits are wide enough for narrow ribbon to slide through!

This card was made with the slits and I was able to slide a ribbon through the opening and use it on the front of the card!  The top slit is visible, but with a little trimming, it should become less visible.

This is Flower2 on Page 65 in the handbook.  The larger card is cut at 5 inches.  The smaller card is cut at 3  1/2 inches.

The ribbon fits into the slit and can be tied on the front.
Inside view.

Another trick that I learned about "Sophie" is to use what is left on the mat...on the card!  I colored the pieces on the mat and adhered them to the flower on the card front.
