My Life Scripture

Philippians 4:4-7 (ESV English Standard Version) Holy Bible
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let the reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.

Donation for Correctional Facility!

The "Using Your Stash" Challenge on the Cricut Circle Message Board ended on August 31.  The Cricut Circle Message Board is for members only, but I wanted to share something about the challenge with you.

The participants of the challenge were entered into a drawing for several Prize Packages.  One of the participants of the challenge made the comment that more stuff would add to their  stash.  So, I offered an alternative to the winners...make a donation of the prize.

The recipent of the donated prizes is the Lee Arrendale State Prison in Alto, Georgia.  I talked with the activity therapist and was told the center only had construction paper and stickers!  They were in desparate need of more crafting supplies.  So, the Cricut Circlets came to the rescue!  I have been asked to teach a class on cardmaking at the institute.  I will be contacting the therapist on Tuesday to tell her the good news about the donations and to set up a date for the cardmaking class!

Isn't life exciting!!!

Here is a picture of the stash!  I will post more about the great cardmaking adventure as it happens!
