My Life Scripture

Philippians 4:4-7 (ESV English Standard Version) Holy Bible
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let the reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.

Cricut Circle Blog-iversary Challenge #3!

The Circut Circle Blogiversary Challenge #3 is to create a project using the Cuttlebug and 2 Cricut Cuts.
Card is from Cricut Cartridge "Christmas Cards"
Tulips are from Cricut Cake Cartridge "Birthday Cakes"
Cuttlebug embossing folders used..."D'vine Swirl", "Oriental Weave", and "Japanese Scales"
Cuttlebug die used..."Naturals"
Rub-on sentiment

I used the Gypsy and a 6x12 mat to weld the Tulips and card together.

Then cut multiple tulips in red and green to layer on the card.

The blue background is from a package of stickers from my stash. The flowers and stems were adhered with pop-dots and embossed to add texture. Then the flowers were outlined with Stickles for some bling. The butterfly was decorated with Stickles. The grass is torn paper and the red sentiment is a rub-on.

Close-up of the layers on the tulips.

The completed card.

Just happened by, got tired of "drama" on Cricut Chat. So glad I did. These cards are beautiful. I do have a question, how did you make the outline on the card with the stick pins? Might just have to lift a little of the design.

Thanks again for sharing!!!

Debby, Thank you for your kind words...and "thank you" to everyone else, too!

The outline on the card with the stick pins is made by using a cut and emboss folder by Cuttlebug. This folder is really neat! It not only embosses the paper, but it cuts it too!
