My Life Scripture

Philippians 4:4-7 (ESV English Standard Version) Holy Bible
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let the reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.

Quick and Easy Easter Cards...Part 2!

This is what it is all about!
Ten 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders making Easter cards for the shut-in and elderly!
To see Part One click the link below!
Lessons learned...
**Don't make the cards too easy!  These are really smart children!
They had all 35 cards completed in about 20 minutes!
Fortunately, I brought extra cards and materials.  We made several more cards.
**They love to stamp and cut out!
I will include stamps and ink next time!

**Sit in the middle of the children, not at the end of the tables!
Everyone was so attentive!  They watched and followed the instructions.  Thank goodness for the 3 adults that were in the room to help!  However, I should have been closer to all the children

**Stickers are nice, but I will include glue sticks for some of the sentiments!
This will make the cards more interactive and take more time!

Card making is so much fun!!!
The girls were amazed at the ATG gun!  They also really liked the paper trimmer!
I think there are some potential paper crafters in this group!

This was a good day!
Thank you for visiting my blog!

Mama C,
I do believe angels walk this earth and you're one of them! THIS is the hokey pokey and it is what its all about! Start them young with a servant's heart! Looks like they're enjoying it too!

TFS!

Carolyn, you are just an amazing person. This was so totally awesome of you to take on this project. The kids learned something (and will potentially carry forward with it as they get older), they are doing something for someone else, and the recipients will be so surprised and happy to receive these cards. You rock woman!
