My Life Scripture

Philippians 4:4-7 (ESV English Standard Version) Holy Bible
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let the reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.

Scenes from the Cricut Circle Exclusive Cartridge "Animal Antics"

All images were cut using the Cricut Expression, the cartridge, and white cardstock!
No Cricut Craft Room or Cricut Gypsy were used in the creation of these cards!
All pieces of every image were cut in white cardstock.
Images were cut at 4 1/2 inches.  The completed scene fits an A2 card.
All the color was added by using various stamp pads, sponges, and dabbers.
It was messy, but fun!!
A variety of adhesives were used.  Lots of foam tape was used to give depth.
Seashore scene--page 65 in the handbook.
Ink pads were used to create the color.
Under the sea scene--page 64 in handbook.
Ink pads were used to create the color.
Heat embossing with clear ink and powder were used to give the scene a shine.
The back layer was created with heat embossing and white powder on blue cardstock.
After creating 2 cards, I realized the colors were not as vibrant as I wanted them to be.  That is when I remembered this set of inks.  I have had these for several years.  The ink is still wonderful, but the foam tips are beginning to disintegrate.  A swipe with a sponge worked great!
 Desert scene--page 63 in handbook.
Used the "Memories Direct" inks with this card.  Several smudges resulted from the messy ink.  However, I was pleased with the darker, more intense colors.
Mountain scene--page 62 in handbook.
I created a river with one of the layers.
Road trip scene--page 61 in handbook.
Lots of little pieces, but everything fit together well.
Amusement park scene--page 60 in handbook.
Lots of layers!  I used foam tape for dimension.
Living room scene--page 59 in handbook.
So many layers!!  I used purple flocking on the chair.
Trees scene--page 58 in handbook.
Had lots of tiny pieces!

The animal images are cute on this cartridge, but I am especially happy to have the scene images.

Thank you for visiting!
Have a wonderful Easter weekend!!

You had fun, didn't you?! But I know that layering is a LOT of work. Well done!
