My Life Scripture

Philippians 4:4-7 (ESV English Standard Version) Holy Bible
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let the reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds through Christ Jesus.

A Blueberry Summer!

Nature's Perfect Fruit!
During July and August, I am blessed to be able to help harvest blueberries for a local farm.
During a 'good' season, we will pick many pounds of delicious blueberries!
My payment is in blueberries!  I have frozen blueberries for a year!
This year I am making handmade cards for the owners as a gift of appreciation.
The cards are made using the Cricut Cartridge "Preserves" and various stamps from two sets, "All Around Quotes" (Fiskars) and "Faith Greetings" (TPC Studio)
The blueberries are located on pages 50 and 51 in the handbook.
The Cricut Gypsy (hand held design studio) and Cricut Mini were used to cut the images.
The images were cut in two shades of blue card stock and two shades of green card stock.
I used a plastic drawer divider to hold the pieces.
This card features a cluster of blueberries.  The layers were glued together and then adhered to the card.  One of the 'clusters' is attached to the card with dimensional foam tape to give depth.
This card features on cluster of blueberries that is adhered with foam tape.
These are single blueberries on a branch.  The berries were glued together in a bunch.  The top berry branch is adhered with foam tape to give it depth.
Singe blueberry branches and a cluster were used on this card.  The center cluster is adhered with foam tape for depth.
Thank you for visiting my blog today!

I love blueberries - they cost a fortune here! Love the way you have organized the bits and pieces for making the cards, what a great idea!
